A BIT ABOUT CHRISTOPHER
Christopher Friesen is a versatile musician, educator, and multi-instrumentalist based in Portland, Oregon. With over a decade of professional experience, he has toured internationally and performed at major festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Love Supreme Festival, and Soul’d Out Festival.
A graduate of Clackamas Community College with additional training at the Alan Jones Academy of Music, Christopher combines formal education with real-world experience in both performance and the music industry.
As a session player, recording artist, and ensemble member—including Jarrod Lawson, Wil Kinky Trio, Cameron Morgan Group, Mars Retrieval Unit, and Worth—he has played over 100 live shows per year and contributed to 16 published releases.
